Updated site layout We have just reorganised the site to (hopefully) make its content more accessible. There are three sections of particular interest to project partners, News, Resources and Project Management (only available if you are logged in). These three sections should allow us all to communicate and keep up to date with the project. Please take a look around and let us know what works and what doesn't. P.S. Could all partners who haven't yet done so, add their details to the About => Partners page Details...

Welcome to the Game On Project PDF Print E-mail
.We can create highly engaging and motivating materials using Game Based Learning to develop basic, personal and work sustainability skills in prisoners, those at risk of offending and ex-offenders, including those with disabilities.

The personal development module will support learning that will develop the employability of the beneficiaries (e.g., managing aggression, responses to problems and stress, self esteem, and trust). The work sustainability module will support the expectations and code of conduct of employers, the legal and safety issues of employment etc. There will also be Basic Skills modules dealing with entry level numeracy and literacy.

These materials are be designed and developed by 7 partners throughout Europe (UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Romania) to take full account of cultural and language variations. These flexible games based learning tools will then be trialled and released to improve prison based education throughout Europe
